Natural Hair

My natural hair journey began before I knew I was on it. For years, I'd been stretching the weeks between relaxers beyond the standard 4-6 weeks but one day in June 2010, I simply decided the stretch was no longer a stretch, but a transition. Initially, I planned to stretch for one year post relaxer which means I would have done my Big Chop on my birthday in Dec 2010. However, I couldn't wait and two days later, I BC'd. Best decision ever.
